I applied design thinking in a food delivery app development project. We started with the empathy phase where we interviewed 20 users to understand their problems. We discovered that the main issue was not delivery but the lack of clarity about meal contents for those with food allergies.

I used design thinking to improve the patient experience at a medical clinic. We started by observing patients in the waiting room and found that the biggest concern was not knowing the remaining wait time. We designed a simple notification system that solved the problem.
Excellent practical example directly related to the topic.

I believe design thinking is very important in education. I applied it in designing a new curriculum where I started by understanding student needs first and then designed the content accordingly.

Design thinking changed the way I work as a designer. I now always start with research and empathy before any design. The most important lesson I learned is that the first solution is not always the best.
